Watoto Wetu Tunu Yetu?
The project aims to put the child's readiness to enter standard one as it focuses on children from 0-6 years especially those in the daycare/ kindergaten class, and intends to improve teaching techniques through games, as emphasizing the utilization of natural tools such as water bottles, bottles top etc. Also it emphasize stimulating classrooms as well as nutrition in the public
Integrated School Readiness Programme
Childhood Development Organization (CDO) in collaboration with Children in Crossfire Tanzania (CiC) is implementing “Watoto Wetu Tunu Yetu” programme for 5 years from 2017/2021 in Morogoro region in two Districts of Mvomero (Mtibwa, Mlali and Doma Wards) and Kilombero (Mwaya, Mchombe and Ching’anda Wards) in collaboration with President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), Ministry of Education Science and Technology through Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), Teachers Training College-Mhonda, Morogoro and Morogoro Regional Administrative Secretary Office.
To increase school readiness for children
Children with age of 0 - 6 years old.
parenting from 0-3 years old,
preschool for 3-4 years old,
pre-primary for 5-6 years old
